Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water

This is the fifth game in Tecmo Koei's survival horror franchise about an evil that can only be defeated by using a camera that can capture and take away evil's essence. Like in previous games in the Fatal Frame (Zero) series, the player must defeat hostile ghosts by taking photographs of them. The Wii U GamePad is used like a real camera, and extra damage can be dealt to enemies by rotating the controller before taking a shot. The game takes place in a large open environment with mountains, lakes, and graveyards. The mountain setting is constantly rainy and has many flowing water features, and sopping-wet ghosts haunt the area. The game features a guest appearance of the female ninja Ayane as a bonus playable character in her own side-mission, where she has been requested to find a missing girl named Tsumugi Katashina.
